Dipkarpaz Village: a practical note for İskele
Quiet village, fish and donkeys
One of the last settlements on the Karpaz road. Modest eateries and a logistics base for nature trips.
Dipkarpaz (Rizokarpaso) is one of the last large settlements at the end of the Karpaz road. With its quiet village life, stone houses and modest eateries, it serves as the logistics base for nature trips at the tip of the peninsula.
Trying the day's fresh catch in the village is a classic experience. As cards are not accepted everywhere, it is wise to carry cash and to check fuel and supplies before continuing to Apostolos Andreas or Golden Beach.
