Call for Protocols in Student Transportation

In Northern Cyprus, the Turkish Cypriot Public Transporters Union has raised concerns regarding the current state of student transportation services. The union's president, Beksan Bekir Akandere, emphasized the urgent need for protocols that define the responsibilities of all parties involved to ensure safety and reliability in student transport.

Akandere pointed out that merely initiating transportation services without addressing underlying issues is not a sustainable approach.
