Monastery of Apostle Barnabas

The Monastery of St. Barnabas is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Cyprus and one of the most significant historical landmarks. Located in a picturesque and secluded spot near Famagusta, the monastery has a rather modest exterior. Although it is no longer active, it now houses an archaeological museum within its walls.
