Rainwater Infrastructure Enhancements in Gönyeli-Alayköy
The municipality of Gönyeli-Alayköy is ramping up investments in rainwater infrastructure ahead of the winter months. Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu announced that the rainwater channel project on Soylu Street is nearing its completion.
Amcaoğlu emphasized the project's significance for the area. The rainwater channel will help prevent water accumulation during heavy rains. This aims to enhance the quality of life for local residents while strengthening the infrastructure.
The channel being constructed on Soylu Street includes two main rainwater pipes, each with a diameter of 1000 mm. These pipes will facilitate more effective collection of rainwater and minimize potential flooding risks.
In a statement from the municipality, it was noted that the project is progressing the planned timeline, with the goal of completion before the winter season. Amcaoğlu added that similar infrastructure projects will continue in the future.
