Vouni Palace is an ancient palace ruin set on a sea-facing hill near Lefke. Dating to the 5th century BCE, the building reflects an intriguing transition that began under Persian influence and later took on Greek architectural features. Today it is largely preserved at foundation level.
The real reward of a visit is the extraordinary sea and coastal panorama from the hill, especially striking at sunset. The road is winding, so drive carefully; it can be windy. It is ideal to plan together with ancient Soli.
